Classic Commercial Vehicles exhibited, a regular classic bus route between sites and from the station, market stalls, Saturday evening road run through the Westmorland Dales, entertainment for all the family.

From 2 - 4pm. Kirkby Stephen Repair Cafe helps to reduce waste sent to landfill, saving money and resources by using expert volunteers to fix everyday household items.
We have a friendly team of DIY and sewing experts ready to take on your repairs. Bring along any clean clothes, electricals, jewellery, toys, small items of furniture etc...that are in need of attention and we will do what we can to help!
The Repair Cafe is run by Kirkby Stephen Community Arts and Kirkby Stephen and Upper Eden Good Neighbours Scheme, with support from Kirkby Stephen Town Council. Following the success of the Upper Eden Memory Club at Kirkby Stephen we have decided to start a second group in Brough to enable us to continue to accept Clients and Carers into our Kirkby Stephen family. We enjoy fellowship over tea and coffee followed by guided activities and usually end with singing some favourite songs of old.

Monday 9th April - Cumbria Wildlife Trust - `Bats of Cumbria' - The Friends Meeting House, Kirkby Stephen

Rich Flight, from the South Cumbria Bat Group, will give a talk on the nocturnal world of bats. Cumbria is home to a host of these mammals whose lives are as fascinating as they are secretive.
The CWT Upper Eden Support Group runs a variety of activities to support the Trust's work. Everyone is welcome to join us for our talks, which take place at The Friends Meeting House, 48A High St, Kirkby Stephen, CA17 4SH.
