Old Croft House
Dating from 1750 The Old Croft House has retained much of its original charm and character with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
On arrival relax with a tea or coffee and homemade cake of the day either in the tranquil walled garden where you can enjoy the sunshine and look out for the parrots which fly over frequently, or in the winter by a roaring fire in the lounge.
Each of our four bedrooms has been furnished in a style suited to the period features of The Old Croft House without compromising on comfort with a few modern luxuries to make you feel at home.
All the rooms have a digital TV, tea, and coffee facilities, hairdryer and robes. The superior double has an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower whilst the double and twin rooms each have en suite shower. The single room has its own private bathroom with shower cubicle and roll top bath just across the landing. Each room also has a foot spa and complimentary toiletries from The Bath House; following a long day walking or exploring what the area has to offer why not soothe those aching feet with a foot spa containing lemongrass bath salts. Rooms available from £38.00 pp.
After your days exertions why not enjoy a home cooked meal in our dining room, our menu changes regularly so please contact us for our latest dishes. Walking or cycling the coast to coast? Missed out on your Sunday roast? Join us on Sunday evenings for our roast of the week. 2 course - £16 per person, 3 course - £20 per person. Open to non-residents by arrangement. To enable us to source fresh, local produce we ideally need meals to be pre ordered at least a day in advance. We are not licensed but you are welcome to bring your own wine to accompany meals.
